Alpaca Hand Feeding Tour

No matter how many times you visit, you wool always love this tour! When you enter the paddock you will be surrounded by a herd of happy alpacas and llamas eager to see what tasty treats you have to fill their bellies! The alpacas and llamas will happily eat the food straight out of the bucket! But if you are keen to get a little bit more up close and personal, it is no llama-drama to hand feed your new fluffy best friends! Our experienced guides will introduce you to the members of the herd and fill you in on their quirky personalities and behaviours!

Duration: 45 minutes (approx.)

Experience includes: 

• A 'magic green bucket' filled with alpaca muesli to hand feed your new fluffy best friends.
• An experienced tour guide who will be able to answer all your alpaca and llama questions.
• A visit to The Blackwattle Farm Shop which is full of yarns, wools, fibre, roving, packs, gifts, toys and goodies galore!

Prices: Please book a tour for the number of participants in your group. Prices start at $120 for up to 4 people over the age of five. Children 4 years old and under are free of charge. This is a private tour with a maximum of 10 guests per tour. Groups greater than 10 people can be arranged by contacting us. All children must be accompanied by paying adult.  

Special Notes:

• You will be entering the paddock where the animals live, so please ensure you listen to and abide by all instructions that are given to you.
• Our alpacas and llamas are not restrained, as such they are free to engage in or leave the hand feeding tour as they choose.
• Please wear enclosed shoes to the farm and gumboots if it has been raining.
