Join us on our alpaca farm in Murrumbateman, for this fun and creative yarn dyeing workshop. The full day Create @ Blackwattle session is designed to elevate your hand dying techniques for creating multi-skein fade, ombre and gradient yarn sets.
Best suited to intermediate dyers, you'll design and dye your own unique five skein yarn fade set under the guidance of an industry expert. Leave at the end of the day with valuable new skills and a yarn set like no other! Completely customised to your colours - so don't forget to bring some inspirational pictures or swatches on the day.
During this workshop you will be working with our Mallee yarn base, of which 5 x 100 gram skeins will be provided. Made of a machine washable blend of 75% superwashed merino wool and 25% nylon, this range of 4ply fingering weight yarns is a hardwearing and versatile option for a huge range of projects.
The session also includes meals, tea, coffee and an opportunity to meet our happy herd for some alpaca and llama love (weather permitting).
Summary of inclusions:
