Your adventure begins with you joining a 45-minute group interactive tour, where you will discover the joy of walking your fluffy new friend. Snap some adorable pics, taking some selfies and learn why we love our quirky alpacas and llamas. Our knowledgeable guide will lead you through the scenic beauty of our farm, sharing fascinating insights into the lives and personalities of our happy herd.

After the alpaca experience, indulge in a private picnic under a shady tree or pretty spot on the farm. Sit back and enjoy the views across our farm, whilst enjoying the included cold drink and picnic platter.  

This unique tour is tailored for both couples and groups, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you're planning a romantic outing for two or a group adventure with friends, our farm is ready to welcome you for a day filled with laughter, connection and adorable alpacas.

Price: $180 for 2 people

Group Size: up to 3 bookings, accommodating a total of 6 people

 

Experience includes:

  • One alpaca or llama for each paying person.
  • A 45-minute group stroll, alongside your alpaca/llama, to a beautiful location on the farm.
  • A chance to pat, cuddle and take photos with your alpaca or llama.
  • A knowledgeable tour guide to answer all your alpaca and llama questions.
  • A privately set up picnic area with comfy seating, pillows, blankets and flowers.
  • A delicious picnic platter for you to enjoy in a private location on the farm.
  • A choice of beverage: tea, coffee, soft drink, water or a small bottle of wine to share (approx. 187ml): white, rose or red. 
  • A visit to the Blackwattle Farm Shop which is full of alpaca and llama inspired gifts!

Please advise us on any dietary requirements that we will need to be aware of/cater for. 

Special Notes:

  • This is a spring/summer Sunday special tour only.
  • You will be entering the paddock where the animals live, so please ensure you listen to and abide by all instructions that are given to you. 
  • Our alpacas and llamas are not restrained during hand feeding sessions, as such they are free to engage in or leave this portion of the tour as they choose. 
  • Please wear enclosed shoes to the farm and gumboots if it has been raining.
