About Angela

Angela is the owner and creative director for Blackwattle Yarn and Fibre. Angela uses her skills learnt whilst completing a Bachelor of Visual Arts (James Cook University Townsville), to create masterpieces on yarn. Paint on canvas = paint on yarn! As a trained artist, Angela is the person to chat to regarding colour selection for your next project. She will help with what colours work, what colours don't work and why.

About Clare

We have had the pleasure of partnering with Clare when founder of Canberra's former Stitching Room, a stockist of Blackwattle Yarns. Clare brings with her a wealth of knowledge regarding sewing, knitting and crocheting. For Clare, these crafts have been a way to unwind. She loves being able to create something from nothing, and feel the textures of wool between her fingers as she knits and crochets.
