Learn to knit garments that fit perfectly, every time! Let knitting designer and teacher, Pru Raymond, assist you to get accurate body measurements and create a reusable, personal template to refer to when selecting sizes in commercial patterns, or designing your own. Develop a working understanding of ease, gauge and pattern customisation.
Skill level:
This workshop is designed to support knitters of all levels - those who have knitted many garments, and those who are about to embark on their first.
What do you need to bring:
- 4 mm knitting needles: single point or circular
- dressmakers' measuring tape (150cm-200cm)
What we supply:
- 1 x 100g ball of 8ply/DK yarn
- morning tea (cake/slice of the day with tea/coffee
- complimentary alpaca hand feeding experience (weather permitting)
- 10% off all purchases through the farm shop on the day.
