Get full on with Fair Isle in this intensive workshop with Pru Raymond. Learn to slice your knitting open like a pro, and add bands and cuffs. Develop techniques to make your colourwork stitches pop, and your floats so beautiful, you’ll want to wear your sweaters inside out. You will leave with a new level of confidence to knit any Fair Isle / stranded colourwork pattern. 

Skill level: 

This workshop is designed for knitters to improve and extend their stranded colourwork skills to include better yarn management strategies, consistent colour dominance, catching floats (how, why and when), and steeking (‘unfinished’ method). 

What do you need to bring: 

  • 4 mm circular knitting needle with 80cm circumference or DPNs 

What we supply:

  • 2 x 50g ball of 8ply/DK yarn
  • morning tea (cake/slice of the day with tea/coffee)
